A Season of Gratitude, New Beginnings, and Growing Hope
Our June edition of the Christ our Hope Liverpool newsletter is now live, and it’s full of stories that speak of God’s faithfulness and the life of our parish.
This month, Revd Helen Edwards reflects on her years of ministry among us, sharing words of gratitude and encouragement as she steps into a new chapter. Her reflection, shaped around Micah 6:8, is a moving reminder of what it means to walk humbly and faithfully with God. “You have shown me Christ in your kindness, your perseverance, your humour, your faithfulness,” she writes, looking back on her time with deep thankfulness.
We also introduce two people stepping into significant roles within our parish family:
Revd Will Gibbons, our new Rector, who shares his excitement about the opportunities ahead for Christ our Hope Liverpool.
Ethan Miller, our new Deanery Youth & Children’s Worker, passionate about helping young people grow in faith.
Inside, you’ll also find details of upcoming events—including our Communications Gathering in September—and a spotlight on Surfstage, a handmade music and arts festival that’s perfect for inviting friends, neighbours, and family.
