Seeing What God Is Doing Among Us: Our 2025 Impact Report
We are so excited to share our Christ Our Hope Liverpool Impact Report 2025, a celebration of all that God has been doing in and through our parish over the last year.
This report offers a snapshot of our first year as a larger, single parish, bringing together our churches across Christ Our Hope Liverpool and All Saints Stoneycroft. It tells a story of faith, courage, generosity, and hope – and of countless people stepping out to serve God and their communities in amazing ways.
A Year to Celebrate
As you open the report, our hope is that you’ll feel encouraged, inspired, and grateful – because this is your story. None of what you’ll read would be possible without the prayers, giving, time, and talents of people across our churches. Every act of faithfulness, whether seen or unseen, has played a part.
Across 2025, we’ve seen:
- People introduced to Jesus through worship, baptisms, confirmations, and welcoming events
- Children, young people, and families finding a home in our churches
- Leaders raised up, volunteers welcomed, and clergy supported and trained
- Practical love and justice shown through foodbanks, mental wellbeing projects, and community groups
- Care for creation recognised with Eco Church Gold awards
- Strong safeguarding and support structures strengthened across the parish
Each statistic represents a person. Each activity represents a moment where God’s love was made visible.
Church in Action, All Week Long
Our churches continue to be places of welcome, hospitality, and belonging – not just on Sundays, but every day of the week. From café churches and toddler groups to youth weekends, food pantries, creative workshops, and places to combat loneliness, we are seeing church lived out in real and practical ways.
It’s particularly encouraging to see how our work with schools, young people, and families is growing, alongside plans for an exciting new Youth and Children’s Deanery Youth Hub in the year ahead.
Looking Ahead With Hope
This year has also been a season of transition and courage, as new patterns of working have been established and leadership roles developed. As Revd Helen reflects in the report, it’s been a year of stepping out in faith – and seeing God respond.
With Revd Will preparing to step into the role of Team Rector, new leaders discerning their call, and fresh opportunities emerging across the parish, we look to the future with real expectation.
In the words of Isaiah 43:
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not see it?”
We believe God is indeed doing something new – and we invite you to be part of it.
Take a Look
This blog post can only give a glimpse. The full Impact Report is packed with stories, voices, and moments worth celebrating.
As you read, we invite you to pray, give thanks, and ask:
Where might God be calling me to get involved next?
Together, let’s continue to see more people knowing Jesus, and more justice in our world.
