We welcome Kate to the Support Services team as our Finance Officer

“Growing Christ-centred communities that enable everyone to flourish”

Christ our Hope Liverpool is the name of a group of Church of England parishes in West Derby Deanery working towards becoming a single larger parish.

We are setting up more effective administration and support structures to release church leaders to focus on local ministry and mission. The appointment of a Finance Officer, is a key next step for us.  We’re delighted to announce that Kate Hindley has been appointed to play this pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day management of parish accounts and payroll.

I’m so delighted to have been appointed as finance officer for COHL. I love that Jesus has wired us all uniquely and He’s wired me to love a balanced account book! I also love Liverpool and God’s church here, so this role feels tailor-made for me.

I was born down south, grew up in Germany, but have lived in Liverpool 3 times longer than anywhere else, and proud to be an adopted scouser.  I’m married to a vicar, and have 3 teen kids, who will tell you that my hobbies are food, crochet, cold water swimming, reading Discworld novels and watching Brooklyn 99.

I currently worship at St James in the City. Prior to that we were at Emmanuel, Fazakerley for 15 years, and before that St Andrews Clubmoor … so the COHL office is on familiar turf.

I’m very much looking forward to meeting you all and being part of God’s work in West Derby deanery. I hope I can be a blessing to the mission here.

We welcome Kate to Christ our Hope Support Services in the week beginning Monday 7th October. Kate will be working 16 hours per week and will be starting with a period of induction and training.

Please be praying for Kate, for all who give to the ministry and mission of our churches, for all those who work so hard to look after our finances and those providing COHL support in this time of transition.
